On a Friday afternoon my sister, daughter and I headed out to the Texas Hill Country to the Duchman Family Winery in Driftwood. In their Tasting Room, we discovered we could taste any 6 of their wines for just $12. However, we decided to each get a glass of one of their white wines…
We were also a bit hungry so took a look at their food offerings…
Here’s what we chose…
Cheese & Charcuterie Plate with Double Cream Brie Cheese, Spanish Manchego, and Italian Dry Salami served with baguette slices, grapes, stone ground mustard, and honey
This was very good, as were the Trebbiano and Canto Felice wines we tried. As you can see from the photo, the pour size was decent for the $5.00 price. So overall it was a nice outing and worth the drive out there. We rated the experience 4 stars, which is the same that Duchman Winery was given by both Yelp and Trip Advisor reviewers.
