Hi my name is Barb, but you may know me as jabead from the DIS boards or Instagram. At last count I’d been to my favorite vacation destination, Walt Disney World in Florida, 29 times in the last 20+ years. Most of these trips were with my family (husband and 3 kids) but in recent years I’ve taken a few solo trips to the World. My favorite part of vacationing at Disney World has been dining at many of the hundreds of restaurants there.
And when it comes to Walt Disney World restaurants, there is truly something for everyone, from those with simple tastes to those who seek out gourmet dining. The only problem is deciding where to dine when you have so very many choices to choose from. That is where I’m hoping to be of help to you.
Though I certainly haven’t visited all of the roughly 400 full service and quick service restaurants at Disney World, I have been to at least half of them and written dining reviews for many of these on the DIS boards. The reviews from six of my trips to the World (taken from May 2012 – Nov. 2015) have been transferred over from that forum and organized by both location (park, resort, or Disney Springs) and restaurant to hopefully make it easy for you to do some Disney dining research. Since then I’ve completed 6 more trip reports (from 2016 – March 2021) on my blog. My Fall 2019 trip report is currently on hold while I work on the one from my latest trip in April 2021 so I hope you will follow along to read some more current dining reviews. Also my next trip to Disney World is planned for Fall 2021 (subject to change due to the COVID situation) so stay tuned for much more Disney dining!

Hi Fran! So glad to have you here!
I’m so glad I found this! I’ve missed you on the boards, but follow you on Instagram….(even tho I’m rarely on there)
Hi Nicole! I’m so glad you found me. I’ve got two WDW trips planned before the end of this year so my blog should be pretty active starting in November. Btw, what is IG and/or DIS boards name?
