While exploring some of the new and old places of Disney Springs (previously known as Downtown Disney), we came across Amorette’s. Once inside, I found it impossible not to take about a 100 photos.
Photos of the cookies…
The Mickey Brownies…
The Eclairs ($6 each)…
Pistachio, Caramel Sea Salt, Lemon Meringue, Chocolate, or Raspberry
I thought the Raspberry Eclairs looked the prettiest…
But I have no idea which of the 5 flavors tasted best. You could though buy this variety pack and decide for yourself…
Then it was on to Amorette’s Signature Pastries (all priced at $8 each), such as the…
49th and Broadway N.Y Cheesecake topped with Lemon Curd, Blueberries, and Chantilly
Would you like one of those? Or how about a whole tray full, just waiting for the finishing touches…
Or perhaps you are looking for chocolate? Then look no further than this…
Avant-Garde – Chocolate Chiffon Cake and Chocolate Crumbles
Or maybe this chocolate cake…
Viennese Waltz – Chocolate Almond Financier Cake with Apricot Jam and Chantilly
Prefer tarts??? Like this Black Forest Chocolate Tart filled with cherries cooked with sugar and cherry liqueur…
Or a Key Lime Tart…
Sunset on Mile Marker 0 – Key LIme Tart with Chantilly and Baked Meringue
Or perhaps this might strike your fancy…
Palais Garnier Opera Cake – Almond Cake, Chocolate Ganache, and Coffee Buttercream
Or then there were these beauties, just waiting for the finishing touches…
And then the finished product…
Dancing with Pavlova – Light Meringue Crisp, Raspberry Pate de Jelly, and Chantilly
We also got to see these being finished…
…by Aileen.
And the finished product…
Reflections in Memphis – Toasted Chiffon Cake, Banana Pate de Fruit Jelly, and Caramelized Bacon Pieces
Next was a seasonal selection…
Gingerbread Pumpkin – Pumpkin Mousse, Chocolate Mouse, and Gingerbread Cake
And the last of the $8 Signature Pastries that I photographed was this cute Mickey one…
Mickey Mousse – Chocolate Chiffon Cake filled Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate Mousse
Then at $15 each, there were a few Petit Cakes available for purchase…
Fall Petit Cake – Spice Chiffon Cake, Milk Jam, Chocolate Tea Biscuit, Apple Compote and Caramel Mousse
And the one that I would love to try…
Petit Amorette’s Cake – Eleven Layers of Red Velvet Cake, Cherry Mousse, Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Mousse, Raspberry Pate de Fruit Jelly, and Italian Buttercream
And last but not least, Amorette’s full size cakes priced at $65 each, starting with their cute character cakes…
From left to right, there was the…
Pluto Dome Cake – Chocolate Chiffon Cake, Peanut Butter Mousse, Banana Pate de Fruit Jelly
Mickey Dome Cake – Chocolate Chiffon Cake, Milk Chocolate Mousse, and Orange Pate de Fruit Jelly
Minnie Dome Cake – Lemon Chiffon Cake, White Chocolate Mousse, and Strawberry Pate de Fruit Jelly
And a seasonal character cake, which at $55 was $10 cheaper than the regular Mickey cake…
Halloween Mickey Cake – Chocolate Chiffon Cake, Milk Chocolate Mousse, and Orange Pate de Fruit Jelly
And this gorgeous full size $65 cake option…
Chocolate Fascinator Cake – Dark Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Cake
And then finally, the pièce de résistance, Amorette’s Signature Cake…
Eleven Layers of Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Cake, Cherry Mousse, Chocolate Mousse, Raspberry Pate de Fruit Jelly, and Italian Buttercream
At a price of $75, I wasn’t tempted to buy this one but it sure was pretty to look at.
So what did we buy? Sadly nothing. We were all still full from our lunch at The Wave. The plan was to return after dinner, but again we were too full. And the same was true on my other two visits to Disney Springs. But I still have hope for my trip next month. Maybe then I will be able to actually write an Amorette’s review.
