Here is where you can purchase a Disney resort refillable mug (which is included with the Disney Dining Plans) and use it at their two Coca-Cola Freestyle Beverage machines, as well as get your morning coffee fix. On my last Disney trip I stayed at the Beach Club for 9 nights so I made many trips to the Marketplace to refill our mugs.
But on this short 3 night stay I actually didn’t have the time to set foot into the Marketplace until the morning of our departure day. I went there to get our breakfast and I had something specific in mind, but I of course checked out all of the options available for the purpose of this review.
Let’s begin with their hot breakfast options, which are listed on the first menu on the left…

As you can see, there are really only 3 options here…Mickey Waffles, a Breakfast sandwich, and a Bounty Platter, which is a little bit of everything. There are also oatmeal and grits served at the Hot food station. So anyway, not as many options as are typically available at other Disney resort quick service places. I did notice that they had changed their breakfast sandwich since I had it here in December 2016. At that time the eggs, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich was served on a croissant, rather than a bagel. Here is my breakfast sandwich from 2016…
Otherwise the options were exactly the same as they were here in December 2016, only the prices were lower then. Here is a photo of their 2016 Breakfast menu…
So though the Marketplace is open at 6:00 a.m., the hot food station does not begin serving breakfast until 7:00. Then after 11:00 a.m. they switch to their Sandwich & Soup menu, which is then available until 11:00 p.m. (1/2 hour before the Marketplace closes at 11:30). But note though that the Meatball Sub is only available until 9:00 p.m., unlike the other two sandwiches. Also of note, I’ve heard that their Clam Chowder is really good here.
Two other options available from 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. are an individual size cheese flatbread and a Create-Your-Own Salad. Additionally, from 5:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. they serve both a Rib Dinner and a Chicken Dinner (both of which come with Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Corn on the Cob, and Cornbread). And then their last menu lists all of their Kids’ Meals, two of which are offered for breakfast (from 7:00 – 11:00) and then only a Turkey Sandwich, Cheese Pizza, or an Uncrustable are available for the rest of the day. So overall here the selections are a bit underwhelming, especially compared to many of the other resorts.

But let’s move on now to the photos which I took at the Food Station. Here are the Mickey Waffles and Scrambled Eggs (which are used with the Breakfast Sandwich and are also included on the Bounty Platter)…

And the Bacon and Sausage Links…

Of course there were also the typical Breakfast Pastries offered at the Marketplace, such as Cinnamon Rolls (Note: These were very lightly iced, so if icing is not your thing then these might appeal to you)…

If you like your breakfast pastries with more toppings (sugar and nuts) then they do also have Sticky Buns…

Or if you prefer no sugar, then there was a small assortment of Croissants and Bagels…

Then in the Coffee Cake/Muffin section there were these Coffee Cake Loafs in addition to Double Chocolate Chip Muffins, Blueberry Muffins, and Chocolate Chip Muffins…

My son’s only request for his breakfast that morning was a Chocolate Chip Muffin. However when I saw these Chocolate Twists I thought they looked better than anything else in their Breakfast Pastry case…

So I of course ended up getting him both…

I got to have a few bites of the Chocolate Twist and it tasted as good as it looked.
As for me, I knew my trip (even a very short 3 night trip) would not be complete unless I had Mickey waffles at least once. So I of course had this for the final meal of the trip…

This was the Kids’ Meal portion, which includes two waffles and your choice of bacon or sausage. It also comes with a small drink. I got a chocolate milk for Andrew, as I was making coffee in the room for my drink. The Kids’ Waffle meal was only $6.49 and was actually plenty of food for me. The waffles were good but the bacon was just okay. Overall though, this was a great way to end our trip.
