Staying at the Boardwalk Resort has its advantages.  One of them is being able to run down to the Boardwalk Bakery to get breakfast to go.  That is exactly what I did early on this Sunday morning.

And even though I was there in search of breakfast, I noticed that they were already serving a couple of items from their Sandwiches menu…

 

The first of these was a Turkey Club Sandwich…

Turkey Club Sandwich with Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon Maple Spread on a Soft Butter Roll

 

And the other was a Roast Beef & Salami Sandwich…

Roast Beef and Salami Sandwich with Provolone Cheese, Sweet Pickled Peppers, and Herb Mayonnaise on House-made Ciabatta

 

But as I said earlier, I was looking for breakfast.  And though I considered these…

 

 

Or a Breakfast Sandwich with Egg, Bacon, and Cheese on a Croissant…

 

Or on a bagel…

 

I went with my old Boardwalk Bakery stand-by of coffee and a Blueberry Muffin…

 

Which I took back to my room to enjoy.  And while my muffin looked a bit odd…

 

As usual, it was moist and chocked full of blueberries…

 

And as usual, it was tasty and hit the spot.  One of these times I will try something other than the blueberry muffin for breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery…maybe???
