Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar

This was my first ever visit to the Coca-Cola Store and its rooftop bar, located at Disney Springs.  The retail store on the lower levels of the building sells the same type of Coca-Cola themed merchandise as is sold at Club Cool in Epcot’s Future World, only much more of it.  But then instead of offering the unlimited free samples of 8 different soft drinks from around the world like at Club Cool…

At the Disney Springs location, if you would like a beverage you must make your way up to their rooftop and purchase it.

Their cocktail (and mocktail) menu looks something like this…

As you can see, the prices are rather high here.  So I limited myself to one drink, a simple Bacardi Rum & Coke

It came with lots of ice and not much alcohol so not much bang for your buck here.

Paula surprised me and ordered something from this section of their menu…

Under the “Tastes of the World”  category she ordered the International Tray of 16 different sparkling and still beverages from around the world…

These were served on two trays (8 cups each, cups were almost 1/2 full) and each tray came with a card which identified the included drinks.  Though I thought for sure I had taken photos of these cards, the pictures are nowhere to be found on my camera or phone.  I do recall that some of these were the same as those served at Club Cool, including the dreaded Beverly from Italy…

Different location, same horrible taste…

…as you can tell from Paula’s reaction.

The Coca-Cola rooftop does have the added benefit of a nice view of the Disney Springs area…

I especially enjoyed watching the helium (not hot air) filled balloon ride, formerly known as Characters in Flight but now called the Aerophile Balloon Ride.

My observation was that this balloon ride didn’t seem to travel far and was a pretty short ride, probably less than 10 minutes.  Worth $20???  You be the judge.
