Our last bit of Disney food came from our resort’s quick service restaurant. For breakfast on our departure day we mobile ordered from Contempo Cafe.
I of course had to have Mickey waffles one last time…

This came with three waffles, a choice of two sides, and a small cup of strawberries for $10.79. I noticed that the price of this breakfast is now $11.29. I had sent Don to go pick up our order but forgot to tell him to get me some syrup so I ate one with just the strawberries. While it was fine that way, it really needed some syrup. I took the other two waffles with us and the next morning at our Holiday Inn Express I reheated them in the microwave and added syrup from the hotel. Without syrup I gave these just an okay rating of 3, but with the syrup they were a 4…even reheated. I love the malty flavor of Disney Mickey waffles. As for the breakfast meats, the sausage links were fine but the bacon was the usual thin, overcooked, and flavorless quick service bacon. On the positive side, I guess, there was plenty of it.
Note: Two sides came with the Mickey waffles but when ordering on the app bacon and sausage were the only two options offered. Therefore I ordered one of each, but in hindsight I probably should have gotten sausage as both my sides because it was better than the bacon.
As for Don, he went for something healthier…

Steel-cut Oatmeal with brown sugar, which also came with a small side of strawberries for $5.49. He enjoyed this and gave it a rating of 3 1/2. The price of this has also gone up. As of May 2026 it costs $5.99.
And that concludes our final meal of this trip. We didn’t exactly “go out with a bang” but anytime I get to have Disney Mickey waffles for breakfast is a good day for me.
