Satu’li Canteen Breakfast – March 2025

When Satu’li Canteen opened on May 27, 2017 along with the rest of Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom, it served breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner. An interesting fact is that it was the first Disney quick service restaurant to offer mobile ordering. But breakfast did not last long though, as it was discontinued in September 2017. Since I didn’t visit Disney World that year until October, sadly I did not get to try it. So I was excited when they announced that starting on November 1, 2024 they would again serve breakfast. Initially it was offered on only a 3 month trial basis to test out its popularity. It must have passed the test though because not only was it still offered when we visited in March 2025, but as of this writing in May 2026, Satu’li Canteen continues to serve breakfast from 8:00 – 10:00 every day.

Now on to our review.

We had rope dropped the park at 7:30 that morning to take advantage of the 1/2 hour Early Entry time for Disney resort guests. After our group split up to ride two different rides in Pandora, we met at Satu’li Canteen for breakfast. We had placed a mobile order so by 8:15 we were seated at a large table inside the restaurant with three trays of food and beverages.

Our group of 7 shared 3 adult entrees plus a Kids meal. The first of our entrees was the…

Frittata and Beef – Vegetable Goat Cheese Frittata with Wood-fired Beef tossed in Chimichurri – $12.99

We all liked this and rated it a 4. I did find it a little odd that it was served with a mixed greens salad. I guess it might have been more about the aesthetics though, as it looked nice on the plate for the photo. However, although this dish was good, it ended up being our least favorite of the entrees.

This next entree rated even higher…

Cinnamon French Toast with Blueberry Cream Cheese, Passion Fruit Anglaise, and Sausage – $12.99

This was another winner for us! Our group gave the French Toast a rating of 4 1/2.

We got Lucy the Kids version of the French Toast…

This was a Kids Meal so came with one slice of French toast (instead of two) and one sausage link (instead of two), but the meal included a choice of a small milk or small DASANI water. The Kids Meal price was $7.99.

For our last entree, we got the…

Slow-roasted Pork Shoulder Potato Hash with Chorizo Sausage and Charred Onion Sauce – $13.29

Wow, this was so flavorful and delicious! We all enjoyed this one and agreed it was the best of our three entrees. The Hash received a perfect rating of 5 from us.

Three of us also got coffee, which of course was Joffrey’s. It was a decent cup of coffee for a quick service restaurant. At the time of our visit the price for a cup of coffee here was $4.29 but I see now (May 2026) it is $5.19 (a more than 20% increase).

Andrew got this for his beverage…

Pandoran Sunrise – Dole Pineapple Juice and Minute Limeade blended with Powerade Melon and Powerade Fruit Punch – $$5.79 (the price of this beverage as of May 2026 is $6.29)

NOTE: It’s interesting that while the food prices have held steady in the last year+, the beverage prices have increased (especially the coffee).

Overall, this meal ended up being one of the favorites for our group. My husband has already asked me if we are going here for breakfast on our upcoming trip. I really want to try lunch this time, but I might try to sneak in breakfast too. We’ll see.
