So there are 3 ways to dine at Epcot’s Space 220.
- The first way is to make a reservation at the restaurant, but that option is fairly expensive at $55.00 per person for lunch (for appetizer and entree chosen from a prix fixe lunch menu) or $79.00 for dinner (also includes dessert, again ordered from a prix fixe dinner menu). But I had already had dinner at Space 220 restaurant with my son back in 2021, so I didn’t really feel the need to do the full dining experience again.
- Another option is to check at their host stand outside the Mission Space building to see if they have availability at their bar. The bar offers first-come, first-served, walk-up only seating and an la carte menu but there are very few seats at the bar. If you are a party of 1 or 2 you might have good luck doing this. A negative though is that the bar seats face away from the space surroundings/windows.
- The third option, which is the one I used this time, is to attempt to get one of the highly sought after reservations for the Space 220 Lounge. Like the bar, you can order from their a la carte menu but unlike the bar the seating is guaranteed and has a good view of the surroundings. You’re not quite as close to the windows as the guests on the lower level but you are also not having to pay the premium $55 or $79 price.
As I said above though, the Space 220 Lounge reservation is a very difficult one to get. On a whim, I checked at 60 days out and was quite surprised when a reservation for 2 popped up for one of the days of our trip. Though it wasn’t an ideal time (at 4:40) or day (we were already doing the Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package dinner that night at 8:00), I jumped on it anyway.
And so on Saturday, March 22 at 4:37 pm we were issued a Space Elevator Boarding Pass to the Centauri Space Station (aka Space 220).

And by 4:44 we were seated at a 2 top table in the Space 220 lounge with this as our view…

Here is a photo of the Lounge menu we ordered from…

For our drinks, Don chose a Blue Moon, which was one of the beers they had on draft. A “Blue Moon” seemed like an appropriate beer to have in space. Anyway, it was $11.00.
I went with one of their specialty cocktails (aka Atmospheric Spirits)…

Illumination with Bacardi rum, Malibu rum, passion fruit, blood orange, pineapple, and lime sour topped with passion fruit boba – $18.00
I thought this would be right up my alley because I usually love fruity rum drinks. However, I did not love this. The predominant flavor was sour and tasted like grapefruit (which I don’t like). Since there was no mention of grapefruit juice in the menu description, I assume the sourness came from the lime sour. Whatever it was, it pretty much ruined this drink for me. I rated the Illumination cocktail only a 2 1/2. I gave it an extra 1/2 because I liked the boba balls, lol.
Now for our food. We chose 3 items from the Flight Bites section of their menu, starting with the…

Astro Deviled Eggs – Free-range Eggs, Maple-glazed Bacon, Scallions, Pickled Shallots, and Microgreens – $12.00
NOTE: This is no longer on their menu as of April 2026.
Don really liked this, especially the bacon, and gave the Deviled Eggs dish an excellent rating of 5. I however thought the eggs had a strong flavor of vinegar that I didn’t care for and so gave the Deviled Eggs only an okay rating of 3. So our combined average for the Deviled Eggs was a good rating of 4.
Our next choice we were in total agreement on…

Blue Moon Cauliflower – Tempura-fried Cauliflower, Housemade Hot Sauce, and Blue Cheese Dust – $17.00
I think I had these when I was here for dinner in 2021 and I thought they were good. But these were not good. They were not inedible though so I gave the Cauliflower a rating of 2. Don though thought that was too generous. Our server was very attentive and noticed that we weren’t eating the cauliflower. When she asked about it, Don told her they were bad. She very kindly removed them from our bill, which was an unexpected surprise.
For our last Flight Bite we chose the…

Short Rib Sliders with White Cheddar Cheese, Red Pepper Citrus Aioli, Lettuce, Tomato, and Butter Pickles. These were served with French Fries (not listed in the menu description) – $18.00
The fries were a nice surprise and were good. Don enjoyed his slider a bit more than I did and gave it a very good rating of 4 1/2. I thought these sliders were just good and rated them a 4. I thought they were better than the ones we had at STK’s Happy Hour but not as good as the ones we had at Crew’s Cup Lounge.
So overall our experience here was good. The food, except for the Cauliflower, was good and the service was very good. Don had fun asking our server silly questions about living in space and she played along perfectly. I think he really enjoyed the theme of this restaurant so I’m glad that we kept our reservation here. However, we were quite full when we left Space 220 at 5:45 so I was a bit concerned about eating again at Spice Road Table (for the pre-paid Fireworks Dining Package) in just a little more than 2 hours.
But speaking of leaving, here is one more photo I took of the restaurant on the way out…

And another of our descent back down to Earth…
