I hadn’t been inside Starring Rolls for a few years, so I enjoyed looking around to see what they had to offer. There were assorted muffins…

 

 

…and bagels.

 

There were croissants, both plain…

 

…and chocolate.

 

Then there were some very tasty looking cinnamon rolls…

 

…as well as some apple turnovers.

 

And speaking of apple, there were assorted danish including both apple and cherry (or at least I think they were cherry??)…

…as well as cheese danish.

 

Inside the glass case were these massive sandwiches, including Black Forest Ham…

 

and Turkey.

 

Looking for dessert? Then Starring Rolls is your place, with chocolate chip cookies…

 

and M & M brownies.

 

Plus of course, there are lots and lots of cupcakes, including Red Velvet…

 

…Chocolate-Peanut Butter

 

…and Butterfinger.

 

And finally, there was a special 25th Anniversary Chocolate-Nutella cupcake…

 

This was a chocolate cupcake with hazelnut buttercream frosting and topped with chocolate ganache, chocolate sprinkles, and Mickey candy confetti.

So what did I get that afternoon at Starring Rolls Cafe??? Something that I had never had before at DHS.

 

I got a cheese danish to go and saved it to have for breakfast. But even the next morning it still tasted fresh and delicious…two thumbs way up!
