Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes

The first negative we experienced regarding this quick service restaurant is that it does not offer mobile ordering. With a group of 7, mobile ordering is such a great convenience.

Here were the choices made by our group, starting with the entree picked by three of us…

Honey Sesame Chicken – Tempura Chicken, fresh Vegetables, Honey Sesame Sauce and White Rice – $14.99

Andrew and Allison both gave this a rating of 3 1/2. Andrew commented that he wished the chicken was more crispy. Don was the third person of our group to order the Honey Sesame Chicken, but he gave this only an okay rating of 3.

The rest of us all chose different entrees. Jake went with the…

Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich – Fried Chicken Breast, Kimchi Slaw, and Honey Heat Sauce – $15.99

Jake thought this was good and gave it a rating of 4. He especially liked the sauce, which he said was very flavorful.

For her entree, Becca chose the…

Sweet-and-Sour Tempura Shrimp – Golden Crisp Tempura Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Sauce and White Rice – $16.99

Becca really enjoyed this and gave it a perfect rating of 5. Sadly though, I see that this entree is no longer offered on their menu (as of May 2026).

For the sake of this review, I wanted to try something different from the others, The other entrees available were Firecracker Shrimp, Rib Tips, Teriyaki Chicken Salad, and what I chose…

American Kobe Cheeseburger – American Kobe Beef, American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and Asian Pickles – $18.99

This was the most expensive entree on their menu. Was it worth $18.99? No, not at all. The burger itself was fine but the bun was very dry. So overall I gave this cheeseburger just an ok rating of 3. I did though enjoy the french fries and gave them a better rating of 4. This is listed on their current menu (as of May 2026) as just a Yeti Cheeseburger but I think it’s still an American Kobe beef patty. I did notice that while our other entrees have not increased in price, the cheeseburger is now $19.49.

For entrees, that just leaves Lucy’s Kids meal…

PB & J Uncrustable Kids Meal includes a Cookie, Fresh Fruit (Apple Slices), and choice of 1% milk, Minute Maid Apple Juice, or a small DASANI bottled water – $8.99

Yak & Yeti had only two other options for Kids meals, Cheeseburger and Chicken Strips. She seemed fine with her choice of the good old packaged Smucker’s Uncrustable.

I also ordered two sides for our group to share…

Crispy Pork Pot Stickers (4) for $8.49 and Pork Egg Rolls (2) for $8.99

The pot stickers tasted how they looked. We gave them a rating of 2, which was probably a little generous. The egg rolls were much better though and received a rating of 4 from our group. However I must say they were overpriced. As a comparison, two pork egg rolls at the Joy of Tea (a kiosk in the China pavilion area of Epcot) currently cost only $5.95.

And that just leaves the dessert I got for us to share…

Mini Mango Pie – $8.49 (price is now $8.99 as of May 2026)

I had heard that this dessert was really good so I really wanted to try it for myself. To my surprise, this was a pre-packaged dessert so initially I was disappointed but it ended up being tasty. We gave it a rating of 4. Again though I thought it was overpriced for a pre=packaged dessert.

So overall this lunch was fine, but not close to as good as our breakfast at Satu’li Canteen. Therefore on our upcoming trip I’m planning to have lunch at Satu’li Canteen.
