Here were our beverage choices…
I chose the 16 oz. Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider (on the right). which was $10.50. This was fine but I would probably not get it again. I think I prefer the California Sunset cocktail that I got here on a previous visit, however it was more expensive at $14.00. My rating for the hard cider was 3. Oh, and by the way, both the Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider and the California Sunset cocktail are still on BaseLine’s current menu (as of March 2024) but the prices have increased to $11.75 for the cider and $16.00 for the cocktail.
Andrew’s choice (on the left) was one of their specialty non-alcoholic beverages, the Wild Strawberry Lemonade for $4.49. He is generally a fan of strawberry lemonade and thought this was a good one. His rating was a 4. This is still on the current menu and surprisingly the price has not changed.
We also got a couple of the options on their limited Small Plates menu. The first of these was their…
This had Toma Farmstead Cheese, Point Reyes Original Blue Cheese, Laura Chenel’s Sonoma Goat Cheese, Chorizo and Calabrese Salami, Cornichons, Whole Grain Mustard, Grapes and Toasted Baguettes. We liked everything on this plate except for the cornichons and the whole grain mustard, which had horseradish. This was a tremendous value at only $10.00. Our rating was a solid 4. While this is still on their current menu, sadly the price has increased to $13.00.
Our other Small Plate was the…
This was also very good, especially with that beer cheese fondue. I wish you could get two cups of the cheese instead of the spicy mustard. This was another 4 rating. The pretzel is also still on their current menu but the price has increased to $10.00.
Overall this was a very satisfying visit to the BaseLine Tap House.
