For the second half of our October 2021 we stayed at the Beach Club Resort for 5 nights (10/27 – 11/1). This was our 4th time staying there in 5 years, 2016 – 2021.

NOTE: I read that the lobby was refurbished in 2023 so I’m hoping to check it out during my upcoming trip.
This time we were assigned to Standard View Room #3662…
Yes, our balcony was tiny, standing-room only…
Not a great “Standard” view but I’ve had worse.
Otherwise the room was good. It had a long entrance hallway, with the door on one end…
And this extra cabinet and decorative mirror at the other end…
The rest of the room seemed like a typical Beach Club room, although there was no pullout couch…
Again I’ve read about the room refurbishment that took place here in 2023. From the photos it looks like they’ve added a little color with changing the curtains and artwork, etc. While the rooms were nice before, I do think they were a bit drab so hopefully the changes they made were an improvement. I also read that they’ve replaced the shower curtain with a glass door and now have the usual soap dispensers in the shower, replacing the travel size products that they previously hard. This makes me sad because I loved to take some of those home with me.
