Boardwalk Bakery – October 2021

This was my last visit to the Boardwalk Bakery because in August 2022 the bakery was converted to the Boardwalk Deli.

My previous visit to the bakery (after the Covid shutdown) I found that their offerings were pretty limited. So I was happy to see more options in their display case this time…

Sadly there was still no cream cheese danish like I used to be able to get here.

But there was something else that caught my eye…

Since we had just had ice cream from the Boardwalk Ice Cream shop, we waited until later to have this. When we did eat it later that night it was quite good. Underneath the shiny blue shell was a layer of delicious marshmallow cream. We rated this pretty cupcake a 4.

I’ve always been a fan of the Boardwalk Bakery’s breakfast pastries and desserts. I’m hoping that the Boardwalk Deli has continued with the high standards for bakery goods that were set by its predecessor. Perhaps I will have the opportunity to find this out for myself on my upcoming trip to Disney World.
