Dessert from Beaches & Cream To Go

Beaches & Cream Cream Soda Shop, the full-service restaurant located at the Beach Club Resort along its shared pool complex, Stormalong Bay, is super popular. Therefore it can sometimes be difficult to get a dining reservation there or could require a long wait if you attempt to walk up without one. But if you are just wanting ice cream then a great alternative is their walk-up window, Beaches & Cream To Go.

Here was their posted menu when we visited on March 19, 2025…

While this menu seems pretty limited, it doesn’t tell the whole story. From previous experience I knew you could get any of Beaches & Cream’s specialty sundaes (aka Sundaes on the Beach) from their To Go window, including my favorite sundae, the No Way Jose.

While you can get the full No Way Jose sundae with three scoops of ice cream, I can never eat that much ice cream plus all the toppings in one sitting, even when sharing. This was especially true on this visit, as this was the 3rd stop of our progressive dinner. So I requested and received a smaller, two scoop version of their No Way Jose sundae.

Note: The original version usually comes with two scoops of vanilla and one scoop of chocolate ice cream. When I asked for only two scoops, I was given the option of having both be vanilla, or chocolate, or one of each, which is what I got.

The Two Scoop Version of the No Way Jose Sundae with One Scoop each of Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream topped with warm Peanut Butter sauce and Hot Fudge, Mini Peanut Butter and Chocolate Morsels, and Whipped Cream – $11.25 (plus tax)

NOTE: The regular No Way Jose sundae with 3 scoops of ice cream is currently priced at $13.50.

In case you were wondering, I was charged the price of their regular Old-Fashioned Two Scoop Sundae, which is $9.25, that comes with your choice of just one topping. Then $1.00 each was added for the second sauce and the morsels.

Anyway, we both enjoyed this sundae and gave it a rating of 4. Next time I get this, and I’m sure there will be a next time, I might get just vanilla ice cream, as I think it better complements the peanut butter and hot fudge sauces. I might also skip the morsels, which I paid an extra $1.00 for. With those modifications, it would likely raise our rating to 4 1/2 or maybe even a perfect 5.

I have one more thing to share regarding Beaches & Cream To Go. While there are a few tables outside the restaurant, they are usually occupied by guests waiting to be seated inside. However, there are a few small tables around the corner that were open when we were there at about 8:00 p.m. We sat and enjoyed our sundae at one of these tables.

Oh wait, I have one other tip for you. The To Go window is very busy after Epcot closes (which is usually at 9:00 or about 9:20 if you stay for the nighttime show) and the Yacht & Beach Club guests return to their hotel and are craving some ice cream. So my advice is to get there before 9:00 if you want to beat the late-night ice cream crowd.
