We made an 8:30 reservation here with the hope of watching the 9:45 fireworks show from a table by the window. I checked in at the desk outside the restaurant and then waited inside for our name to be called.
I like the lighting in the lobby here…
I had asked at the check in desk if we could be seated by a window but when we were called (at about 8:40) we were not seated at a window table. We noticed that there was an empty table for two by the window so Andrew nicely asked if we could move and they granted his request.
First here are a couple photos of the interior of the restaurant…

Next some menu photos…
First we received some complimentary chips and salsa…
I appreciated that these were free but unfortunately the chips were stale. And although the salsa wasn’t the smoky barbecue sauce that they were serving for awhile, it still wasn’t very good. Not long after though (in early 2022) I read that they started charging for their chips and salsa but I think they may have walked that decision back. I do see on their current menu though that there is a $2.00 charge for “Additional Chips” and $3.00 for “Additional Salsa” so perhaps the first batch of chips and salsa are free again.
The first thing we ordered was our margaritas. I of course had to have my all-time favorite (not just at Disney World) margarita, the Avocado. Though it was not listed on their menu, I asked and got it without any problem. Andrew went with one of the margaritas from the menu.
Note: Both of these margaritas are on the current menu (March 2024) but the prices were increased to $17.50 for the Avocado and $18.00 for the Wild One.
My margarita was delicious as usual and I gave it a rating of 5. Unfortunately the whiskey flavor was dominant in Andrew’s drink and he did not like it. He rated his margarita only a 2.
For our shared appetizer we chose the…
Note: This is still on the current menu (March 2024) but the price has increased to $16.00.
We rated this only a 3 but unfortunately I didn’t explain why in my notes.
Another thing from this meal that I have no notes for is Andrew’s entrée
He rated this a 3.
Note: This is still on the current menu (March 2024) but now costs $35.00.
For my entrée I chose the…

Pollo Poblano – Roasted Chicken Breast with Poblano Cream Sauce served with Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potatoes and Oyster Mushrooms. $30.00
I was hoping this might be similar to the Pollo a Las Rajas (Grilled Chicken with Poblano Cream Sauce) that I’ve enjoyed previously at La Hacienda’s sister restaurant, San Angel Inn. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The chicken was dry and the vegetables were pretty flavorless. I gave this a rating of only 2.
NOTE: This entrée is also still on the current menu but it now costs $32.00.
At 9:45 the fireworks show (Harmonious) began. Here are some photos I took from our table through the glass window…
