Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie Breakfast – April 2024

Five of our group started our day with breakfast at Epcot’s French bakery, Boulangerie Patisserie. Let’s begin our review by showing some photos that I took while waiting in line.

First the Menu Boards…

Then some photos of the display cases…

The 5 of us managed to squeeze around a small, square table for 4. The real challenge though was squeezing in our large spread of food and beverages, lol…

I’ll begin with the three things that I tried…

Croissant Sale – Egg, Cheese and Bacon Croissant – $9.50

We actually got two of these for our group. They were maybe left in the toaster oven for just a bit too long but otherwise were very good. We gave this croissant sandwich a rating of 4.

Quiche Lorraine – Ham & Gruyere Cheese Quiche – $6.50

This was another good choice and was given a rating of 4.

And then I also tried some of this dessert for breakfast…

Tarte Aux Fraises – Tart with vanilla cream topped with strawberries and whipped cream – $6.95

And I’m so glad I did because it was the best of the three food items I tried. This received a perfect rating of 5. Delicious!

Some of our group tried the other quiche on the menu here…

Quiche Florentine – Spinach and Gruyere Cheese Quiche – $9.95

Did you notice that the other quiche (Quiche Lorraine with ham) was only $6.50 but the quiche with spinach (and no meat) was $9.95. I have no idea why the big price difference??? Especially since I was told by those that tried both that the Quiche Lorraine (the less expensive one) was better. The Quiche Florentine received a rating of 3 1/2.

Next up was another dessert…

Framboise – Raspberry Mousse, Chocolate Cake, Raspberry Jam – $7.50

This was another good dessert, although not quite as good as the Fraises. The Framboise received a rating of 4.

And you can’t go to a French bakery without getting an…

Eclair Chocolate – Chocolate Cream Eclair – $5.95

This was another winner, receiving a rating of 4.

And last but not least, my bread loving son had to get this…

Demi-Baguette (Half Baguette) – $2.75

This was quite a bit of bread for $2.75 and he ate every bit of it himself…along with lots of butter. He gave it a rating of 4.

Oh, and I almost forgot that we also got a coffee ($3.75) and two hot chocolates ($4.95). The coffee was terrible but the hot chocolate was great. My advice is to skip the coffee here and get your coffee fix elsewhere. Or get hot chocolate instead, lol.

So overall the food is quite good here and reasonably priced, especially for theme park food. And a big shout out to them for not increasing their prices. The prices we paid in April 2024 were the same as they are today (January 2025). BRAVO TO LES HALLES BOULANGERIE PATISSERIE!!!
