Sleepy Hollow Breakfast Review – March 2025

A majority of our Magic Kingdom quick service breakfast for our group of 7 came from The Friar’s Nook.

Here is our review of that part of our breakfast: The Friar’s Nook Breakfast Review – March 2025

But despite the fact that we ordered way too much food for our group to share from The Friar’s Nook, there was still a sweet breakfast treat from Sleepy Hollow that I wanted us to try. So after placing our mobile order at The Friar’s Nook I left the others to pick it up when ready while I made my way over to Liberty Square to get this from Sleepy Hollow…

Large Mickey-shaped Waffle topped with Berries (strawberries & blueberries), Powdered Sugar, and Whipped Cream. – $8.49

I also paid an extra $1.00 for a side of bananas to add to the toppings, so paid a total of $9.49 plus tax for this waffle, as shown in my photo.

NOTE: This was during the year (June 2024 – June 2025 per my online research) that they served only the large Mickey waffles instead of their classic thin and round waffles that they had previously served with their fresh fruit and chocolate-hazelnut spread waffles here. Since June 2025 they have switched back to serving only their much loved round waffles. Also note that as of this writing (in May 2026) the price of the Waffle with berries has increased to $8.79, with the side of bananas still costing an extra $1.00. Additionally, I see that their Waffle that has berries and bananas plus chocolate-hazelnut spread (aka Nutella) is the same price of $9.79. So had I been thinking better that morning I should have just gotten that and had them put the Nutella in a separate container on the side (due to Jake’s tree nut allergy). That way those of our group that wanted to add Nutella to their bites of of our shared waffle could do so, but it would still be safe for Jake to eat.

Anyway, I loved this waffle and thought it was the highlight of our breakfast. I gave it a perfect rating of 5. Almost everyone else in our group enjoyed this to a little lesser degree than me and gave it a rating of 4. However, Allison was not impressed by this waffle and gave it only an okay rating of 3. So overall this Mickey-shaped version of Sleepy Hollow’s Waffle with berries (plus an add on of bananas) received a good rating of 4 from our group.

Some additional history regarding Sleepy Hollow’s waffles…the last time I had the Berries waffle (not the Nutella one) was in 2021. Back then, the Nutella & Berry Waffle was a round waffle but the Berries waffle was Mickey-shaped and did not have fresh berries. It had only strawberries (no blueberries) and it was topped with strawberry pie filling. Soooo disappointing. Here is my photo of that waffle…

But now that they are again serving their classic round waffles (and only round ones, no more Mickey), I’m hoping to get back to Sleepy Hollow on our upcoming trip to try them and compare. I haven’t had a Sleepy Hollow fresh fruit & Nutella waffle in more than 10 years. Back then it was a thicker, Belgian style waffle that I think you were supposed to pick up and eat like a sandwich (although I preferred to use a knife and fork). Here is my photo from 2015…

Hopefully Sleepy Hollow’s current version of this waffle is as tasty as that one was.
