Walking in to the bakery in Epcot’s France pavilion, we were a little surprised to see the long lines.
It had been a few years since we had been here so we had forgotten how popular it is. The park had officially opened at 10:00 that day and at 10:35 the place was packed. But then again, there were only a few options open for food in World Showcase before 11:00 and this bakery is the best of those.
The good news is that the lines moved fast but not so fast that I didn’t have time to take a few photos once we’d reached the display cases…
Top (from left to right): Almond Cookies and Beignets with chocolate hazelnut filling

Bottom (from left to right): Chocolate Caramel Tartes, Macrons with Raspberry and Lime Cream, Chocolate Cream Eclairs, White & Dark Chocolate Mousse Cakes. Top: Chocolate Chip Cookies
And Napoleons…
From left to right: Ham & Cheese Croissants, Bacon & Cheese Rolls, Poulet an Pistou Sandwiches (Chicken breast, Cheese, Tomato Red Onion and Pesto), and Quiche Lorraine

Pissaladiere (pizza topped with tomatoes, black olives, and gruyere cheese) and Brie & Apple Sandwich on a multi-grain baguette,

And here was their Beverage menu…

We picked two snacks to share, one sweet and one not.
Yum! Rating of 4.
Plain Croissant – $2.95 (Current price as of Feb. 2024 – $3.25)
I forgot to ask for butter for the croissant. I thought there might be condiments, including butter, out on station where they had plastic silverware and napkins but there wasn’t any. But the croissant was still very good, as usual. Rating of 4.
This bakery is such a gem. I really should make a point of visiting it on every trip.
