After the parade at Magic Kingdom I headed back to the Wilderness Lodge, as tonight was my one night Club Level stay there. I had taken advantage of a great Bounce Back rate and booked this during my one night CL stay here in April. My room then had a good view of Magic Kingdom and the fireworks so when I received the pre-trip email from the CL staff asking if they could do anything for me, I requested to have that room again or a room nearby with a Magic Kingdom view. My request was granted, for the most part anyway. While I was not assigned the same room, my room this time was just a few doors down so still had a good view. However, it was a Handicapped Accessible room so the setup was a little different. The room itself seemed pretty much the same, only with a king size bed…
However the bathroom was completely different. It was much bigger and had a lot of empty floor space to make room to maneuver a wheel chair I suppose. The counter and sink were inside of the bathroom instead of outside, like in the regular rooms…
None of this was a problem for me, however I was disappointed to see that there was only a walk-in shower and no bath tub…
This was my only night during the two week trip that I had planned to spend relaxing in my room. And part of that relaxation plan included taking a long, hot bubble bath. But I was told that this was the only room available that night with a Magic Kingdom view, so I sacrificed my bath for the ability to see the fireworks from my balcony.
